Simeon started working for GEM Programming Solutions in September 2022.
Before joining GEM, Simeon underwent a 3-month extensive programming training focused mainly on SAS but also including Python and R for Data Analytics.
He is currently undergoing fundamental CDISC training and alongside has started working on his first drug trial projects.
Simeon did a BSc in Biomedical Science at the University of Surrey. In his final year he focused on modules such as Mathematical Biology and did a dissertation on the use of voting and ensemble learning algorithms to resolve conflicts in heterogeneous biological data.
He also did a placement year at a full service CRO laboratory as part of his degree. During the covid pandemic, he worked in a big team of clinical staff where he had the opportunity to also experience the clinical trial process from a lab-based perspective.
Some of Simeon’s hobbies and interests include music, films, travelling, fishing, and outdoor recreation.
